visited Cafe Wisteria on a Tuesday afternoon, and the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. The tables are spaced well apart, so you have plenty of privacy. There is also a beautiful yard with a water fountain, which makes for a nice little walk before or after your meal. I ordered the grilled salmon Nicoise salad, and it was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the salad was fresh and flavorful. My friend ordered the short rib sandwich, and she said it was also very good. The service at Cafe Wisteria was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure we had everything we needed, and he was always happy to answer our questions. I would definitely recommend Cafe Wisteria to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a meal outdoors in Menlo Park.

A very peaceful setting surrounded by gorgeous gardens and beautiful architecture. The food was good as well and great service/hospitality. We hosted a baby shower brunch here and absolutely loved the experience. The vegetarian options are limited but everything we tried tasted good. Highly recommend for a nice brunch with friends or family. Go for outdoor patio seating if you can get the reservation.

Such a beautiful and lightly fragrant treat to enjoy the shaded California sunshine under the Wisteria! We had the steak salad, seafood paella, and tortilla soup. Everything was served elegantly and deliciously tasty. Service was prompt and friendly.

Such a peaceful dining experience, I always enjoy coming here for lunch on a sunny day when I am in town. A little expensive but everything is high quality and delicious. Gorgeous gardens to walk around, feels like you are in Europe! Definitely recommend the salmon salad. There is a parking lot with ample amount of parking spots. I always make a reservation ahead of time.

Service and location were lovely. We got seated right next to the center pool/fountain. The atmosphere is very secret-garden-esque, nestled in the larger Allied Arts Guild center, among beautiful lush bushes of hydrangeas. They had a lot of vegetarian options. Definitely recommend the mushroom empanadas! Mushroom empanadas 5/5 Popcorn cauliflower 3.5/5 Salmon salad 3.5/5 Italian orzo soup 4/5 Garlic bread 4/5 Mushroom & gruyere panini 4/5 Crab and avocado eggs Benedict 4/5 Overall would come back!

We go here whenever we want to eat lunch in a lovely garden setting on a beautiful day next to a gurgling fountain. Our table had an umbrella so we were perfectly shaded. My medium cooked hamburger on a brioche bun and wedges of potato fries were so good I ate it all even though I'm supposedly keto and don't eat carbs typically. The desserts are beautiful and good but the best dessert by far was the ginger creme brulee with a delicate texture (not thick and pasty) and it wasn't too sweet at all despite having a turbinado or demerara sugar sprinkling in addition to the usual caramelized sugar coating. The custard wasn't sweetened it seemed so the balance was perfect. I ordered an English breakfast tea to go with it and the teapot that it came in was lovely and added to the garden ambience. Perfect for an early Mother's Day lunch which we were having. I don't think we would order the bread pudding again though. It was fine but on the dense side and was the only dish we didn't feel good enough to finish but the other two desserts were completely devoured. The third dessert was the molten chocolate cake. It was not the best molten chocolate cake but it was the most beautifully plated with enough ice cream and we very much enjoyed it. There's indoor seating but I can't imagine going to this restaurant and not making the most of the beautiful outdoor seating in a garden setting. Don't forget to shop at the little shops next to the cafe before and after lunch such as the gift shop which benefits the Stanford children's hospital and is 100% volunteer run so be sweet to the volunteers in there. It's always nice to wander all the cute boutiques there as well as the art gallery. One of the artists is always there at the desk and their work will be outside the gallery on the easel.

This is my second time to Cafe Wisteria with my family within a year, the food is good, and the atmosphere is even better, especially on a sunny weekday without big crowds. We were seated next to the pond and little spring, so it was even more soothing and tranquil. After lunch, we just took a walk around the shops and cafes in the complex of Allied Arts Guild, the nature garden was very colorful with the flowers and Spanish architecture. Highly recommended for people to meet and chat in outdoor space! Cheers!
